  • 1 package of store-bought wonton wrappers
  • 2 cups of chopped portobello mushrooms
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

  1. Start by heating some olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until they are soft and translucent.
  3. Add the chopped portobello mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are tender and all the liquid has evaporated.
  4. Remove the mushroom mixture from the heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the mushroom mixture with the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface and place a spoonful of the mushroom filling in the center of each wrapper.
  7. Brush the edges of the wrappers with water and fold them over to create a triangle shape, pressing the edges together to seal the ravioli.
  8. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and carefully drop the ravioli in, cooking them for 2-3 minutes or until they float to the surface.
  9. Remove the ravioli from the water with a slotted spoon and serve them hot with your favorite sauce or toppings.
  10. Enjoy your delicious homemade portobello mushroom ravioli!
